Annie Slater - Director
Director, Psychologist and Supervisor
Annie is a Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working in various mental health settings. Annie has also completed postgraduate qualifications in Secondary Education and Business. She is also currently completing the Master of Psychology (Clinical). Annie absolutely loves providing clinical supervision services. It allows her utilise her skills in teaching, therapy and coaching. Annie is Board approved to provide clinical supervision services for the 4 + 2, 5 + 1, and as a secondary supervisor for the various registrar programs.
Annie’s work experience has included working in a residential setting with adolescents with developmental trauma and problematic sexual behaviour, as a Child Protection Caseworker with Family and Community Services, and as a School Counsellor in both primary and high schools. Annie then moved into private practice for a period of time with Walk Different providing Eco-therapy. Following this Annie was the Senior Clinician at the Watershed, a drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation program. Annie then spent a year working with The Conscious Health Clinic in private practice. Since this time Annie opened her own clinic, Annie Slater Psychology, in Gerringong, NSW, providing a range of psychological services including psychological assessment, psychological therapy (for individuals aged 15 and above), and clinical supervision.
