Deb Kaita Kakiiza - Independent Practitioner
Clinical Supervisor and Psychologist
Deb is based in Armidale, and her clinical work has mainly been with adults through Medicare, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). She has worked within the University setting providing support to students as well as non-government organisations and private practice.
She has been fully registered as a psychologist since the start of 2016. Since that time, she has worked full time, mostly with adults in individual counselling but also worked with some teens and in couples counselling. Deb’s work roles have been in NGOs and private practice where clients attend through Medicare, EAP or NDIS streams. Also, Deb has worked for a university providing psychological support and counselling to students in any discipline struggling with study or other life challenges.

Deb's favourite part about supervising is giving back to the profession, being part of and encouraging the journey of other Psychologists, observing and encouraging their growth in confidence and proficiency.
